POKEPERSONALITIES

Part 3

The Convention Continues

Oops, Forgot a disclaimer last time. Iyami belongs to the previous writer.
I know a lot of things seem rushed, but hey, I am compressing 9 parts into just 5 parts.
I have cut all the briefing out. since it's essentially the same.
You can tell which parts I've totally skipped.
Most of this part is relatively new material.
Ash walked up to the clothing area, noting Misty in a beautiful orange and yellow ensemble.
"I am Lugia. What do you have for me?" Ash said.
"Perfect timing." A green amulet bearer said.
"Celebei, Shut up." Ash said.
"Anyway, Please give me your POKeMON, including Pikachu and Togepi." The woman said. Once she had both their POKeMON, 'Celebei' added a extra ball to Misty's set.
The woman took out a gown and small rod for the both of them, one set gold, the other silver. She watched as Ash chose a collection of items from the three piles that the woman got out for him, then he changed, and donned the cape, Misty following suit.
"Ho-oh, It is time for the briefing." A commanding voice said from under the cowl, as the yes underneath glowed silver.
"Lugia, Let's go." A comforting voice said from under the cowl, as the eyes underneath glowed golden.
They each extended their staffs of office, and stepped out to round up the other amulet wearers.
Brock and Iyami noticed the two figures walk into the food court, bearing long staffs.
"The Gods are walking." Iyami said, then turned her cooking equipment down to a low heat.
"What do you mean?" Brock asked.
"Remember how Ash and Misty got the Ho-oh and Lugia amulets. However, at this present time, You won't see familar features under those cowls." His amulet said.
"Everyone, The briefing will be in five minutes." A commanding voice, that Brock was sure couldn't be made by Ash's voice, said.
"Please attend." A comforting voice, that sounded little like Misty's own, said.
Brock understood now why Iyami was turning everything down.
"Oh yes, Brock, We congratulate you on your success." Misty's own voice said.
Jessie stalked around, knowing she was far from welcome.
A figure in a silver cloak walked up to her, and promptly knocked her out.
"Ho-oh, I've found the Persian." Jessie heard, just before blacking out completely.
Jessie wpke up in the middle of the convention, with eyes burning into her, as if to say "Don't leave just yet."
She looked up, to see a short woman flanked by two imposing figures completely obscured by a cloak, their hands holding a staff in front of them.
"Now, I wish to ask firstly how many of you are POKeMON Trainers?" The male cloaked figure said.
Jesse put up her hand, since she had POKeMON, even though she'd rather not have. A lot of others did, the cloaked figures not even flinching.
"You will have to get rid of them, unless your element and/or amulet embraces them. We don't want trouble." The female cloaked figure said.
The briefing then began, but it was the Jigglypuff amulet, and a Igglybuff amulet wearer was forced to keep playing a POKeFlute to keep all but the cloaked figures awake.
Once the briefing was over, the gold-cloaked figure handed Jessie a bundle, then left with the other mystery person.
Jessie returned to the shadows, to discover she's been given a set of clothes.
"Smart, Ho-oh." A voice Jessie couldn't hear said, "I was hoping she'd need to take her clothes, but you found them for her.
Jessie soon was comfortable, and ready to return to her slinking.
Ash and Misty removed their cloaks, and stowed the rods, returned to their compact size.
"Here are your POKeMON." The woman said, handing them each a set of Happy Balls.
"Don't worry, Your POKeMON are in the best ball for them. Even Pikachu will be happy to return." The woman said.
Misty checked her balls, to find she now had Jigglypuff.
"Jiggly? [What the?]" Jigglypuff said, then Misty returned it.
"Well, At least we don't have to worry about losing sight of that particular Jigglypuff." Ash laughed, then went to join Brock.
Brock and Iyami noticed Ash and Misty, now devoid of their disguising robes of office, walk in.
"Nice clothes." Brock said.
Misty got a set of clothes out from somewhere in her backpack, which was now a large golden one.
"Brock, your outfit." Misty said, then got a second one out, and gave it Iyami.
"I can guess." Iyami said.
"How do you do that?" Brock asked.
"I just know I have them." Misty said, then got out her rod.
Brock noted that Misty's eyes gained a gold tinge to them.
"The rod of office. You were the two figures." Iyami guessed.
"Yep. The only people in the briefing who couldn't feel the sleep waves from the amulet of the Speaker." Misty said, "But only when in robes."
"Well, Why didn't you make any motion while you were talking about the fact every trainer must give up their incompatible POKeMON?" Iyami asked, motioning to a set of pokeballs she now had near to the hotplate.
"We are a exception to the rule." Ash said, imposingly.
"He'll tone down in a month or two... I think." Brock and Iyami's amulet said.
None of them noticed both Brock and Iyami's heart beats beat in perfect sync, and their amulets flashed lightly in the same sync.
Lovng hearts beating together... How cute.
